Lately I’ve been catching myself typing words out phonetically: “kat”, “conquor”, “feer”. Is it over-reliance on spellcheck or has mad cow disease finally got me*?
When I was living in the UK, the government banned meat on the bone for a few years. Can you imagine life without t-bone steaks, lamb chops, oxtail, or ribs (although how big are ribs in the UK really)? (I almost said “bone marrow” too, but how relevant is bone marrow to a 13-year-old.)
